Easter Homework

Dear Parents,

I hope that you are ready for a well earned rest over the Easter Holidays. I know that I am. 🤩

After the holidays our context for learning will change to dinosaurs. We would very much like to hear your planning ideas. Click on the link below to access the stimulus and the planning ideas that the children have collected so far today.

We are very much looking forward to our new context and planning from the pupils ideas.

Finally, here is some Easter fun whist keeping the reading going!!!

What's it made if? - Our next Context

Thank you very much for the homework. I can see that the children have learnt a great deal about some of their ancestors that have fought in wars to protect this country. Well done! I really hope that the children are enjoying sharing this knowledge with their peers. smiley

Our next context will be What's it made of? and we will be starting this context by looking at different toys. Please could you take a photo of your child's favourite toy and email it to me at Williamsc957@hwbcymru.net

Many thanks

Half term holiday home task

The photographs above show 'Clues From the Past' found in our school hall. The children are interested in finding out what connections they may have with people from the past who fought in the war. A connection could be a family connection or a friend or even a friend of a friend, who fought to protect our country in either of the 2 World Wars. I am sure that all of the pupils will be able to identify someone who links to them to enable them to complete the home task. Please support your child to collate facts and photos of their chosen soldier including an explanation of how that person links to them. Please could you support your child to write me an email including all of his information. We plan to share each others work during the first week back in school after the half term holidays.  Please email your child's homework to williamsc957@hwbcymru.net

Many thanks
