Parents/carers are asked to sign the 'Late Arrival Book' giving reasons for lateness. Teachers are required to record lateness in the register. Parents/carers of children who are persistently late will be contacted by the head teacher so that school and home can work together to overcome any issues. Children who arrive after the register has closed at 9.25am will be recorded with an unauthorised absence unless there are extenuating circumstances. We ask parent/carers to ensure that children are punctual. Children who are late lose valuable teaching time.
